Trade unions organising in Crédit Agricole decided to join forces for a better coordination within the group. Under the umbrella of UNI Finance, around thirty participants from Europe and Africa gathered in Paris on 10 December 2015. Participants had the chance to exchange information about working conditions and the anticipation of change in the different countries. As trade union representation is very high in some countries but very low in some other countries, one the new alliance’s goals will be to raise the unionisation rate and give a trade union voice to all employees. They will also discuss how a Global Framework Agreement could improve the wellbeing of Crédit Agricole employees and guarantee the same rights to workers all around the world.
The meeting was organised by UNI Europa in the frame of a European project with financial support by the European Commission.
