Unions across Europe are using online surveys and petitions to engage workers during collective bargaining campaigns. These tools are used to identify campaign priorities but also as a pathway for workers to get more involved.
In this session, we will hear from syndicom in Switzerland, where the union has integrated these tools as part of its core communications work. Frequent consultation is a distinctive feature of the political culture in the country and syndicom has built on this and used digital surveys and petitions to great effect. Dominik Fitze is a staff communicator at the union and will present key case studies.
The session takes place from 15:00 to 16:30 CEST. Register here to join the meeting online. Thanks to the support of the FES Competence Centre on the Future of Work, we will be providing interpretation into French, Italian and BCMS.
