{"id":2273,"date":"2022-03-04T14:35:25","date_gmt":"2022-03-04T14:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uni-europa.org\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2273"},"modified":"2022-04-21T09:08:28","modified_gmt":"2022-04-21T08:08:28","slug":"gender-equality-on-and-off-stage","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.uni-europa.org\/news\/gender-equality-on-and-off-stage\/","title":{"rendered":"Gender equality on and off stage: resources on gender equality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UNI Europa has teamed up with workers and employers organisations in the live performance sector to launch a <a href=\"https:\/\/gender-equality-onandoffstage.eu\/en\/index.php\">website dedicated to findings and resources<\/a> on gender equality.<\/p>\n<p>The website includes a database of good practice examples on gender equality in the live performance sector across Europe, as well as recordings of the Gender Equality Thursdays, a series of webinars which took place in the autumn of 2021. The website is available in four languages: English, French, Spanish and Polish.<\/p>\n<p>This is part of a recently-concluded joint project on gender equality of the European Social Partners in the Live Performance sector. They <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pearle.eu\/\">Pearle*-Live Performance Europe<\/a> on the employers\u2019 side and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaea-globalunion.org\/eaea\">EAEA-European Arts and Entertainment Alliance<\/a> including FIA (International Federation of Actors), FIM (International Federation of Musicians) and UNI MEI representing workers in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>The project ran from February 2020 to January 2022 and allowed for meaningful exchanges between social partners across Europe, as well as provided a comprehensive overview on the situation of gender equality in this sector.
