<\/a>Verdi has published a guide<\/a> for workers on action they can take to address discrimination at work. Building solidarity and good work for all employees is a foundation of the trade union movement. \u00a0This guide draws on real situations and provides practical recommendations and assistance on how to deal with this important topic in an appropriate and respectful manner. As they put it:<\/p>\n \u201cMany studies (\u2026) show that there is the greatest risk of being discriminated against in working life. What legal options do works- and staff councils have to prevent discrimination, what can we learn from the Black Lives Matter movement for everyday work and how can union activists become allies for colleagues who are confronted with racism in the workplace are?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
