Representatives from finance sector unions across Europe gathered to decide on key priorities and elect their leadership for the next four years.<\/p>\n<p>The conference focused on several important areas, including collective bargaining, sustainable finance, digitalization, AI, diversity and inclusion, social dialogue, \u00a0and influencing EU regulations.\u00a0 shape a forward-thinking and inclusive finance sector that would serve society and the real economy.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Budolfsen was elected UNI Europa Finance President for a third term.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet tw-align-center\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud83c\udf89Congratulations to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Mbudolfsen?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Mbudolfsen<\/a> from Danish union who has been re-elected as UNI Europa Finance President <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/finansforb_dk?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@finansforb_dk<\/a> for a four year term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSolidarity is not a buzzword \u2013 each day we are fighting for the next generations.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KO1BgH1fan\">pic.twitter.com\/KO1BgH1fan<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 UNI Europa (@UNI_Europa) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UNI_Europa\/status\/1694450427893280946?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 23, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Dominic Hook, Eileen Gorman, Susanne Lindberg, Luciano Malvolti, Noem\u00ed Trabado, Elke Maes, Mireille Herriberry, Jan Duschek, Anita Palkovich, Adrian Soare, Jana Szaszova and Ladislava Spielbergerova were elected as Vice-Presidents.<\/p>\n<p>Key priorities for their mandate are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forward through Collective Bargaining<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collective bargaining remains a cornerstone of the finance sector unions&#8217; approach to securing workers&#8217; rights and fair working conditions. By uniting the workforce, UNI unions will continue to push fairness and adequate compensation for their contributions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainable finance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finance sector workers&#8217; commitment to promoting green and socially responsible practices within the industry.
