The European Social Partners in the Live Performance sector have jointly developed two Online Interactive Risk Assessment tools for the use of the sector, one targeting productions and the other one covering venues. Eight years on, through this project we will evaluate how effective and fit-for-purpose the tools are to present times.
The project will also look at topics which were not originally included in the tools to ensure that the tools reflect the current reality and needs of the sector.
This project will:
- enable us to bring together national social partners and experts in health and safety work to exchange experiences and to share good practice;
- discuss with the end-users of the tools to update and refine them;
- raise awareness widely across Europe, on risk-assessment in general and on the two tools specifically;
- take into consideration the wider context of environmental and digital challenges and thus prepare for a modernised approach to risk assessment;
- provide a context and a platform for national social partners to engage in dialogue and to work together for a safer live performance sector.
