This EU Social Partners project aims at reviewing and promoting the use of the EU OiRA tool for audiovisual productions. The project will provide training on the use of the EU online tool to national social partners, health and safety professionals and industry stakeholders and will facilitate the adaptation of the EU online tool at member state level.
The project will pursue four specific objectives:
- To review and update the EU OiRA tool of Audiovisual Productions considering the changes in the mode of productions, the long-term impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and new/revised regulations. At the end of the review process the EU OiRA tool will be updated and made available on the web service of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).
- To promote the visibility and use of the EU OiRA tool for audiovisual productions by developing and disseminating a visual identity and a social media kit and by providing a platform for information and exchange to national stakeholder organisations.
- To train social partners and stakeholders in the use of the EU OiRA tool and to provide a platform for exchange of good practice in health & safety prevention.
- To facilitate the adaptation of the EU tool at national level.
The project will focus on franchising as it is one of the most escalating trends among big retailers, with the aim to look into what would constitute ambitious fair franchising. It will explore how ambitious fair franchising can be ensured allowing workers to improve their possibility to be organized, their mental health and work-life balance, whilst providing a decent wage and fair working conditions.
