Syndex have finalised an EU project “Company “Due Diligence” and non-financial information: threats or new leverages for workers’ representatives?” which aims at improving the knowledge of workers ‘representatives regarding these recent developments and to facilitate initiatives by workers and their representatives, as well as consistent and comprehensive workers’ involvement in companies’ decision-making processes on these issues.
All European trade union federations took part and UNI Europa together with Syndex organised a workshop/training to assess the repercussion of these topics on our respective sectors.
At the final conference in January 2022 a toolkit for EWCs and trade unions on due diligence was presented – more information can be found here.
