COVID-19 in the services sector: Europe-wide statements

UNI Europa has been stepping up demands at international level, with both social partners at sector-wide level and with individual multinational corporations at company level.

At sector-wide level, UNI Europa has been working with social partners in different service sectors. A number of joint statements have notably been published outlining tailored measures needed in specific sectors. Information on confederal-level agreements at European and national level can be found on the ETUC’s website. To see the latest worldwide, see UNI Global Union’s feed here.

At company level, service sector unions have two main avenues to coordinate their multinational-level work: trade union alliances and works councils. UNI Europa has reached out to worker representatives in both to provide recommendations.
