Trade union alliances ( TUAs) are a means by which European works councils can be strengthened and trade union objectives advanced within multinational companies (MNCs).
TUAs main objectives are to:
- ensure workers’ rights
- influence transnational decisions
- develop and implement a trade union policy
- build transnational cooperation and solidarity
- support organising activities
