MEPs call for daytime cleaning in the European Parliament
A cross-party group of 56 members of the European Parliament (MEPs) have sent a letter to the parliament’s president, Roberta Metsola calling for daytime cleaning.
The initiative is led by MEPs Agnes Jongerius, Samira Rafaela, Gaby Bischoff, Pierrette Herzberger-Fofana and Özlem Alev Demirel.
They back the joint declaration by UNI Europa and the cleaning employers of EFCI calling on the European institutions to implement daytime cleaning and continuous shifts for their cleaners.
