Joint ETUF letter to MEPs ahead of CETA vote

Monday 6 February 2017

UNI Europa, together with European trade union federations EPSU, EFFAT, EFJ, ETF, ETUCE, EFBWW and IndustriAll, have sent a letter to members of the European Parliament asking them not to give consent to CETA in the plenary vote scheduled for 15 February.

The European trade union federations share a number of common concerns about CETA as it is now being proposed to the European Parliament. The Joint Interpretative Instrument (JII) does not go far enough in clarifying or adequately addressing these concerns which are outlined in the briefing available inĀ English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
