No public procurement without a collective agreement: highlights from UNI Europa’s ongoing campaign

The call for public money to only be #ProcuringDecentWork has been getting louder. From engaging the European Parliament to rallying our affiliates and the whole European trade union movement and generating evidence and strong arguments, the campaign has evolved. Setting human-rights due diligence back on track



The battle over the EU’s human rights due diligence directive is in full swing. One of the big elements of contention is the carve out clauses for the finance sector, contained in the current draft. For UNI Europa, this flies in the face of the ambition behind legislative initiative.
 
In a bid to give additional visibility to the implications of such carve outs, Oliver Roethig penned an opinion piece entitled Setting human-rights due diligence back on track.
